There is nothing very flash about the appearance of this place, but the moment you walk in it has that familiar feel to it, with a very happy atmosphere. I can already tell this laksa is going to be good.

Ordering was simple, Troggie merely asked for "two this time please and a roti " and the lady behind the counter just nods knowingly (he must come here often) and we are sitting and waiting...

It's not long before two big streaming bowls of laksa and a roti are placed before us. And for those that like a lot of curry in your laksa, I reckon this is the one. A rich red and amber broth with lots of chicken, tofu and roast pork... its lacking a bit of veg for myself but the strong curry aroma is making me see beyond all that. It also has a mix of rice noodles and hokkien noodles all cut up in to bite size pieces.
